Who I Am

Lindsay Kraft is a former Council-member (2018–2021), attorney, and mom dedicated to building a more inclusive, fiscally responsible, family-friendly, bipartisan, and forward-thinking Watchung.

As an insurance professional, attorney, former Council-member and political staffer for the New Jersey Legislature, Lindsay brings legal and public policy experience and a practical, family-centered approach to local government.

Since moving to Watchung in 2016, she’s served as Fire Commissioner and Council liaison to the library, traffic, and environmental committees. On Council, she led efforts to save the library, invest in public safety, eliminate the use of firearms on private property to control the deer population, and protect open space.

Lindsay and her husband Adam are raising their children in Watchung as a blended family. She’s running to give voters a voice, a choice—and to help shape a stronger future for all.
